Missed Billing & Billing multiple cycles
To bill multiple utility cycles in one statement period you can "add a custom table" to include more than one utility cycle on the residents statements.
If a billing cycle is marked as "Skipped," this occurs when the information was entered; however, the "Approve" button was not clicked, OR the bill details were not added to the table prior to the end of the billing cycle.
When a table is marked as "Skipped," there is a solution. You can add a 2nd Allocation Table to the current cycle. Keep in mind you must have the information added, calculated, and approved prior to the end of the cycle, or the tables will be marked as "Skipped."
To add an additional Allocation Table to your current cycle, follow the steps below...
- Login to your Livable Dashboard: save.livable.com/login
- Locate your Property: In the property listing on the left side of your screen, click on the property address. The property dashboard will default to the "Billing" tab.
- Select the Current Allocation Cycle: To the right of the current allocation cycle, which will always be the top allocation cycle, click on the dropdown arrow.
- Select "+Add custom table": In the bottom left corner of the dropdown window, select the "+Add custom table" button.
- Select the Utility Type: A new window will open, giving you the option to select a utility type from the dropdown.
- Allocate the utility accordingly: For more information on the allocation process, see our "Processing and Allocating a Bill" article.
Notes:
- You will need to repeat this process for each utility you would like added to the current cycle.
- You will need to ensure all utilities are allocated, calculated, and approved on all additional tables and the current cycle tables to ensure all charges are added to the upcoming statements. Any tables not approved will not post charges to the resident ledgers or statements.
- AppFolio Integration Customer: You will also need to ensure the batches in AppFolio are approved before the 15th to ensure the charges are on the statements issued on the 15th and added to the ledgers in AppFolio.
