How Livable Pro Calculates Occupancy Count from AppFolio
When using Livable Pro integrated with AppFolio, we automatically pull data from AppFolio to determine the Occupancy Count for each unit. This count is critical for ensuring accurate utility allocations and charges based on the number of residents in a unit.
How We Calculate Occupancy Count
Livable Pro includes tenants in the Occupancy Count if they meet all of the following criteria in AppFolio:
-
Tenant Status is one of:
-
Current
-
Notice
- Evict
-
-
Tenant Type is either:
-
Financially Responsible
-
Other Occupant
-
-
Tenant Visibility: The tenant must Not be Hidden
(Any tenants marked as Hidden in AppFolio will be excluded from the count.)
Note: Co-signers are not included in the Occupancy Count, even if they are marked as "Current" or "Notice."
Why This Matters
By syncing directly with AppFolio, Livable Pro ensures each unit is billed fairly and accurately according to how many people actually live there. This helps reduce disputes and simplifies utility cost recovery for property managers.
