How can I add/configure a utility?

Check out the video or follow the written steps below to add a Utility:


  1. Login to your Livable Dashboard: save.livable.com/login
  2. Locate your property: ln the property listing on the left side of your screen. You can either click on the property address and then select the "Details" tab in the top right corner, OR click the three dots to the right of the property listing and then click "Edit Property."
  3. Locate "Utilities": On the Property Details page, locate the "Utilities" section. 
  4. Select "Add utility": If you would like to add a utility, select "Add Utility." Or you can click the three dots to the right of an existing utility, if listed, to modify the configurations or remove it entirely.
  5. Enter the Utility Provider: In the "Provider search" box, start by typing in the Utility Provider name. If the Provider Name does not appear, select the option with "Add new" next to it to add the Provider Name.
  6. Select the Utility Type: Begin typing the utility type in the "Utilities" box and then select the appropriate utility type if listed. If it is not listed or you would like to create a unique/ custom utility type, type the utility type into the "Utilities" box and click on the utility type labeled with "Create custom utility."
  7. Configure your utility: Complete the setup process by completing these utility configuration steps...
    1. Bill frequency: If you require a frequency other than monthly, please reach out to help@livable.com for additional assistance.
    2. Allocated by: If you require submetered allocations, please reach out to help@livable.com.
    3. Handling Vacant Unit Bills: This will determine how usage from a vacant unit is allocated. "Full usage" will allocate all usage and "Limited usage" will allocate a percentage of the usage to the Property Manager. Any usage not allocated to the Property Manager will be allocated to enrolled/ billable units.

  8. Press Save: Ensure you click "Save utility" to save your utility configurations.

Repeat this process for each utility you need to add/ modify/ configure.
